Protected Sales

Tangible items that are sold and sent with proof of delivery to buyers worldwide. Be upfront about all the details of the item, specifically defects, condition and abnormalities. Also supply an accurate delivery estimate.

Items Not Covered

Most Paywicks transactions are covered as long as they follow these requirements.

However, there are instances where Seller Protection doesn’t apply:

Claims, chargebacks, or reversals filed because the item is significantly different from how it was described (e.g. you described an item as “new,” but sent a used one).

Intangible purchases like services, and items that are digitally delivered, including software and media.

Stored value items such as gift cards and pre-paid cards.

Items picked up locally or in person.

Instances where you receive multiple payments for an item.

Claims settled directly with merchant or marketplace.

All prohibited items.

Inability to demonstrate proof of shipment or delivery.

Donations, Mass Payments and personal payments.

Refunds

If an order doesn't arrive or match the description, we'll reimburse the full cost of eligible purchases and paid delivery costs (where applicable).

Chargebacks

When a buyer requests a chargeback or payment reversal from their credit card company, Paywicks may need to refund the amount to the buyer, so they're happy. We put a hold on the funds in the seller's account until the issue is resolved. We're involved at every step of the process and will keep everyone informed.

What Age Do I Beed To Be?

Currently, you must be 16 or older to get a Paywicks card. We're hoping to lower this in the future!

Seller Protection

If you are sent an unauthorised payment – for example, from a hacked account – or a buyer claims they didn't receive their item, our Seller Protection policy covers you for the full amount of the payment on eligible sales.

Proof of Delivery

To be eligible for Seller Protection, you need to provide us with two types of evidence: digital or physical proof that the item was sent by the seller, and proof that the item was delivered by the delivery company.
